William E. Holder, age 71, of Joaquin, Texas, died on April 20, 2026.
He was born in Graham, Texas, in 1954 to William Nathan and Mamie Louise Holder, and attended Acorn High School in Polk County, Arkansas, before joining the U.S. Air Force.
William, who was referring to as “Bill”, “Billy” or “Goose” to his close friends and family, was preceded in death by his father, William “Wig” Nathan Holder, his mother, Mamie Louise Holder, his sister, Novelda Hannaman, his brother, Charles Nathan Holder, his sister-in-law, Sheila Holder, and his brother-in-law, Kelly Adkinson.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea “Andi” Garner (Lance) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and his daughter, Misty Brown (Duane), of Sidney, Montana; one sister, Mary Nell Adkinson, of Texarkana, Arkansas; one brother-in-law, Ray Hannaman, of West, Texas; grandchildren, Colton Garner and Avery Garner, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Tristin Fahrnow (McLaryn), Tynan Fahrnow, of Sidney, Montana, and Zoe Fahrnow, of Grand Forks, North Dakota; a chosen daughter, Taylor Lilley, of Cincinnati, Ohio; 10 cherished nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
