Wayne "Hub" Elliott

Wayne Hub Elliott, age 72 of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, June 02, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Elliott Family Cemetery on the family farm in the Dreka Community in Shelbyville with Lynn Raymond to speak. Visitation will be Saturday evening beginning at 6:00 pm at Mangum Funeral Home. Hub was born March 15, 1945 in Shelby County to parents, Herbert A. Elliott and Willie B. (Anderson) Elliott. He was self-employed and operated Elliott Water Wells from 1972 until 1997. He also had a chicken farm and raised cattle. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his 2 granddaughters Konner and Emilee. He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Elliott. He is survived by: Wife, Carolyn Oliver Elliott of Shelbyville Children: James Elliott & wife, Terrie of Center Jan Windham & husband, Kyle of Shelbyville Granddaughters: Konner Windham of Shelbyville Emilee Elliott of Center Mother, Willie B.
