Shirley Fay Samford, 79, of the Paxton Community, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Keele officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. She was born December 25, 1937 in Conroe, Texas to Allen Oliver and Vinnie Mae (Gilbert) Wilson. She attended Ramah Missionary Baptist Church in Tenaha. She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen & Vinnie Wilson, husband, Billy Banks Samford, Great Grandson, Bentley Banks Samford and Brothers & Sisters, Wallace, Velma, Telman, Lucy, Lee, William Dub , Allen & Iva Ruth. She is survived by: Children: Vicky Samford Rankin & husband, Randal of Wimberley Ronny Banks Samford & wife, Rhonda of Tenaha Sammy Bruce Samford of Joaquin Grandchildren: Sean P.
