Sharon Ann (Lout) Conway

Sharon Ann (Lout) Conway, 76, of Center, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2023, surrounded by loved ones in Nacogdoches. She was born on May 16, 1947, in Center, Texas, to the late Ewell Maurice Lout and Dorothy LaVerne (Sanders) Lout. 

A funeral service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Center First UPC. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Center First UPC. Also, the family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 1PM before the service.

Sharon was born and raised in Shelby County. She graduated from Center High School. She met the love of her life, Luther Conway, through mutual friends.  The two were married on May 12, 1967, and shared more than 56 years together. They raised two wonderful children, Andrea and Justin. Sharon enjoyed feeding her animals, working in her flower beds, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (ShaSha) as her grandkids knew her. She loved spending time with her family. Especially those grandkids and great grandkids. Sharon loved the Lord and served him through Center First UPC.

Numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Ewell Maurice and Dorothy Lout; brothers, Edward Lout, Bobby Lout, and Alton Lout.

In lieu of flowers family request donations in memory of Sharon be made to Center First UPC – Music Ministry, 610 Hurst St., Center, Texas, 75935.

Pallbearers serving will be Trenton Bartley, Chad Martinez, Randy Lout, Chad Nations, Kris Sanderson, David Gilchrist, Melvin Broadway, and David Hailey.
