Robert Lee Holloway “Sonny”, 67, of Center, TX passed away on February 17, 2021. Born on January 01, 1954 to Roy and Evie (Baggett) Holloway.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel in Center, TX with interment to follow at Old Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Mangum Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M.

Robert is survived by his wife of 27 years Ronda (Barbee) Holloway; Mother, Evie (Baggett) Holloway; Sons, Corey Holloway and wife, April of Center, TX and Robert “Robbie” Holloway and wife, Jessica of Center, TX; Daughter, Ashley Holloway of Center, TX; Brothers, James Holloway and wife Sharon of Center, TX, Kirk Holloway and wife, Cozy of Center, TX; Sister, Rebecca Emanis and husband, Charlie of Center, TX; Grandchildren, Juliet James, Jett Holloway, Jagger Allen, Dillan Snell, Alexis Holloway, Celeste Holloway, Riley Holloway and Jared Carter; Special friend, Sheryl Tyler and his best friend and loving pet, Oscar; Special Uncle, Bobby Jack Holloway; Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Robert was a proud Veteran of the United States Army from 1971 – 1974. He received a national defense service medal. He also was a radio operator and was honorably discharged.

Sonny was a proud member of Local 587 Union Hall, where he was a combo welder and specialty welder. He was also a diesel mechanic in his father’s shop for many years, he had a passion for working on anything mechanical, and he was a regular jack of all trades. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Edward Holloway; granddaughter, Kiley Dearman; Grandfathers, Roy Cleveland Holloway and Jeff Baggett; Grandmothers, Virgie May Holloway and Alphie Baggett Special friend J Boy Laughlin.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Emanis, Anthony Harkness, Jeremy Holloway, Antonio Olivas, Corbyn Olivas, Javey Jamison, Kevin Woolf and Joseph Woolf.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Cline, Louis Reynolds, Charlie “Booger” Belcher, Jerrod “Tweeter” Holloway and Derek Barbee.
