Peggy Yarborough

Peggy Jean Stilley Yarborough, 87, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas.

Mrs. Yarborough was born September 30, 1932, in Shelby County, to William Ottis and Gladys Wiliford Stilley. She was a retired nurse and loved to paint; she studied under well-known artist Woodrow Foster. In addition, Mrs. Yarborough was an avid bird watcher, Sunday school teacher and active participant in the Churchbuilder’s Ministry out of First Baptist Timpson where she was a member.

She is survived by:

Daughter Teresa Brown and husband Dan of Sachse, Texas

Grandchildren:

Megan Jones Reyes and husband Thomas of Beckville, Texas

Morgan Jones Southern and husband Scott of Sherman, Texas

Brigid Brown of Lubbock, Texas

Christopher Brown of Coppell, Texas

Great-grandchildren:

Noah, Isaac, Karson, Brynlee, Rylan and Kyler

Numerous nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Yarborough; parents, William and Gladys Stilley; and brother Buster Stilley
