Michael Wayne Kindred, 70, of Joaquin, Texas, passed away on October 29, 2022, in Center, Texas. He was born on November 25, 1951, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Earl Raymond Kindred and Edna Bel Wright.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30PM on November 27, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery, Nacogdoches, Texas.
Michael graduated high school and joined the United States Army. He served his great nation during Vietnam. He met the love of his life, Patsy Miller, and the two were joined in marriage July 31, 1980. They spent over 42 years together before his passing. Michael's favorite place of employment was working for a motorcycle shop. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking the kids and grandkids riding as well. He made sure his kids and grands had things to ride and enjoy while at home. Michael loved time spent with his wife, kids, and grandkids. They were his pride and joy.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Patsy; sons, Michael Wayne Kindred II, Lance Burns; daughters, Heather Marie Plunkett and husband Hoyt, Misty Brooks and Sam Snyder, Kelly Davis, Jodi Miller, Wendy Goolsby and husband Willie; daughter in law, Tonya Kindred; brother, Mark Kindred; sister, Marsha Winton; grandchildren, Draven, Raven, Britney, Carlee, Madeline, Sydnie, Courtney, Brittany, Daniel, Luke, Mikey, Benjamin, Jonathon, Austin, Matthew, Ben; seven great grandchildren; special friend, Rex Hass; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Edna Kindred; grandson, Dre; and sister Faye Owen.
