Marvin Coleman

Funeral service for Marvin Coleman, 62, will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Mangum Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until service time.  

Marvin Lee Coleman, 62, of Channelview, Texas passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 in Houston, Texas.  He was born on February 21, 1959, the son of Wallace Douglas Coleman and Melba Jean Walker Coleman. 

Marvin was a simple man who loved his family dearly.  He was dedicated to his girls and was especially joyful with the arrival of his granddaughters.  His life was filled with laughter and memories that will be treasured by those closest to him.  Marvin was very patriotic and had a special honor knowing he lived in the greatest place in the world.  He supported his country with a grateful heart for the freedoms allowed here.  He often spoke of his beliefs and the things that make America the perfect place to live and raise a family.  He always had his bandana with him portraying his love of the good ole’ USA!  Marvin was a truck driver and saw our beautiful country first-hand.  Each trip, he was amazed at the beauty God created for us to live in.  When he wasn’t working, he also enjoyed fishing, music and cats.  He had a fondness and learned many things about muscle cars, warships and motorcycles.

Marvin is survived by his daughters, Cindie Coleman of Channelview and Teresa Dupuis of Golden, Colorado; granddaughters, Aolani and Eris Glover; brother, Ronald Coleman and wife, Teresa of Houston and numerous cousins and friends both domestic and abroad via the internet.
