Margaret (Holt) Lymn

Margaret A. Lymn, 100, of Center, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2024, in Center, Texas.  She was born on June 12, 1924, in the Neuville Community, to the late Gus Holt and Johnnie Mae (Hanks) Holt. 

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at McClelland Cemetery, with Bro. Cecil Chessher officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service beginning at 10:30 AM at Mangum Funeral Home.

Margaret was raised in the Neuville Community. She was one of six children growing up. She married her best friend, Tom Lymn, and the two shared over 62 years together. They raised two daughters, Sandra and Margaret Ann. Margaret enjoyed painting, sewing, crafting, and reading Christian novels. She also loved gardening outdoors. Margaret loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by grandchildren,

Numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren

Ben Dupre and wife Loretta

And a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Tom Lymn; parents, Gus and Johnnie Mae Holt; daughters, Margaret Weathers and husband Toby, Sandra Dupre; three sisters; and two brothers.

The family would like to express special thanks to Pine Grove Nursing Home, and Nurse Traci Barr, for the exceptional compassionate care given to Margaret during her stay.

Pallbearers serving will be Bradley Waller, Bryan Waller, Bryce Waller, Lamech Waller, and Brian Weathers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Louis Dupre and Darron Weathers.
