Judy Elaine Matthews, 67 of Timpson, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2018 in Timpson. She was born on May 9, 1950 in Tyler, Texas to Claude Cecil Osborn and Mary Kate Gregory. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Judy is survived by her mother, Mary Kate Bennett; daughter, Karen Miller and husband, Bill of Tyler; sons, Michael Matthews and wife, Teri of Cypress and Kevin Smith and wife, Krista of Theresa, New York; brothers, Thomas Osborne and wife, Regina of Lubbock, Jimmy Bennett and wife, Terri of New Harmony, and Ronnie Bennett and wife, Beth of Chandler; sisters, Linda Cook of Garrison and Kathy Hill and husband, Lynn of Van, Debra Bickel and husband, Gary of Granbury; grandchildren, Marissa Matthews, Kody Smith, Kyle Smith, Kalyn Smith, Kade Smith, Gabrielle Wood and husband William, Jeffrey Cagle, Christian Cagle, and McKenzie Miller; great-grandchildren, Abilene, Austin, and Alison; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Matthews; father, Claude Osborn; son, Keith Smith; brother, Jerry Osborn; brother-in-law, Johnny Cook; and step-father, Trumas Bennett.
