Jesse Ray Jackson, 78, of Nacogdoches, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Center. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at noon on Sunday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. He was born February 20, 1938 in San Augustine to Jessie and Mattie (Teal) Jackson. He served in the US Navy. He was a member of Woden Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Mattie Jackson, Son, James Ray Jackson, Son, Mark Jackson, Grandson, Hunter Jackson and Sister, Nelva Joy Underwood.
