Jesse “Buck” Bowers, 94, of Tenaha, Texas passed away peacefully on May 17, 2021. Born on August 25, 1926 in Center, Texas, to the late Jesse Bowers and Marietta (Burroughs) Bowers.

Buck is survived by his daughters, Prudence Thrasher of Longview, Texas, Mary Eve Brumett and husband Dr. Tommy Brumett of McKinney, Texas; son, Eric Bowers of Ashville, North Carolina; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Eris Christian Bowers; parents, Jesse “Buck” and Marietta Burroughs; and brother, George Bowers.
