Helen Blackmon Gray, 75, of the Hawthorne Community, Shelby County, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Lufkin. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Welton Blackmon and Bro. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be Monday, September 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. She was born May 15, 1941 in Shelby County to Jack and Ada Audrey (Taylor) Blackmon. She was a member of Chinquapen Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack & Audrey Blackmon and son, James Roland Gray.
