Gordon Davis, 74, of Center, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Noble and Bro. Sedrick Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. He was born January 9, 1942 in the Sardis Community, Shelby County, Texas to Earnest Marlin Monk Davis and Gladys Wilma (Porter) Davis. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Monk & Wilma Davis, wife, Joyce Ann Davis, Sister, Betty Doucet and uncle, Elton Porter.
