Doyle Luman

Doyle Luman, 83, of Nacogdoches formerly of Center passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 31, 2016 at Mt. Herman Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Warr officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. He was born October 10, 1932 in Shelby County to Jesse Lee and Frances (Warr) Luman. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and upon his return he went to work for Center Coca Cola. He started as a delivery person and worked his way up to manager and spent 50 happy years serving his customers in Center and the surrounding counties. He always believed he worked for the best company in the world and was known as Mr. Coca Cola in the area. He is preceded in death by parents, his two sisters, Mozelle Smith and Becky McSwain and one brother, Redell Luman. He was also preceded in death by his dear son, Gregory Mack Luman.
