Donnie Geneva Mills Graves, 94, of Center, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2024, in Center, Texas. She was born on December 14, 1929, in Center, Texas, to the late Lennox Ray Mills and Verna (Wilson) Mills.
Funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mangum Funeral Home, with Bro. Nathan Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Mangum Funeral Home.
Geneva grew up in the Mt. Herman community located in Shelby County. After completing high school, she earned her degree as a cosmetologist, which she worked as until she was 92. In Center, she met Fairy Graves, the love of her life, and together they raised two children, Vickie and Michael. They enjoyed over 62 years of marriage until his death in 2012. Geneva continued to work as a hairdresser, providing her services at Pine Grove Nursing Center and Mangum Funeral Home. Known for her bright smile, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Aunt Geneva to many others in the Shelby County community. Geneva loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took pleasure in preparing meals for her family and had a passion for sewing. Additionally, she cherished reading her Bible and dedicating her life to serving the Lord.

Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Fairy Graves; daughter, Vickie Patricia Orsak; brothers, James Ray Mills, Carroll Dale Mills; and sister, Juanita Spears.
Pallbearers serving will be Jason Orsak, Forrest Graves, Kirk Sanford, Eric Graves, Todd Graves, and Ryan Mackey.
Honorary pallbearers serving will be Randy Graves and Ron Graves.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations go to a charity of your choice or for those who like, “Plant a Tree” to help reforestation of our national forests.
