David Edward Adams

David Edward Adams, 75, of Center, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Timpson, Texas. Born on November 5, 1949, in Center, Texas, to the late T.O. Adams and Lilly Lou (Cook) Adams.

Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Mangum Funeral Home, with Bro. Son Windham and Bro. Dakota Poindexter officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel.

A proud graduate of Center High School’s Class of 1968, David went on to build a career in insurance sales establishing Adams Insurance where he continued to work for many years. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in all he did. Whether he was working or riding the backroads, David approached life with enthusiasm and a sense of adventure. David had a passion for music and through that he was a member of the Sunday Singers Quartet.

He is survived by his brother,

Jerry Adams and wife Janet

Sisters,

Helen Dillon and husband Buddy

Nita Sims and husband Richard

Numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

David is preceded in death by his parents, T.O. and Lilly Adams; and brother, Tony Adams.

Pallbearers serving will be Cade Oswalt, Jason Adams, Billy Lusk, Kyle Oswalt, and Adam Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers serving will be Mark Blair and Jack Cook.
