Dakota Allen Peek, 22, of Center, Texas passed away February 28, 2021. Born on July 8, 1998 to Mother April Gilchrist and Father John Peek Jr.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel in Center, TX. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00PM at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel Center, TX. Interment to follow at Old Sardis Cemetery, San Augustine County.

Dakota is survived by Mother and Step-Father, April Gilchrist and Lark Gilchrist; Father, John Peek Jr. and Deborah; Daughter, Hadley Hughes – Peek; Grandparents, Sherrie and Victor Blevins, Shannon Gibbs, John Sr. and Georgia Peek; Sisters, Sierra Harvey, Kristen Peek, Tori Gilchrist; Brothers, Austin Gilchrist, John Peek III, Terry Brown, Brian Heard, Skylar Evans, Charles Evans Jr.; Aunt, Chrystal and Will Crabtree, Uncle Jerry and Misty Hudspeth, Uncle Bobby and Kim PeeK, Uncle Jeremy and Jessica Peek, Aunt Kelsey and Tyler Keele, Uncle Justin and Sara Gibbs, Aunt Mary Hancock, Aunt Cristal and Robert Lindley; Great grandmother Dorothy Barnett.

Dakota always enjoyed working on vehicles with his friends and spending time with family.

Preceded in death by Grandfather Paul Hudspeth, Great grandparents Ollie and AJ price, Great Grandmother Barbara Parker, and Cousin Jeremy Peek Jr.
