Bobbie Long Woodfin, 83, of Gary, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2017 in Garrison, Texas. She was born in Gary on April 21, 1934 to J.C. Long and Sybil LaRue Terry Long. Funeral services for Bobbie will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Walker officiating. Bobbie grew up in East Texas, a resident of Gary her entire life. She graduated from Gary High School in 1951. She married the love of her life, Jerry Woodfin, Sr. on October 28, 1952 and the two raised a beautiful family together. Bobbie enjoyed life and family very much. She was very involved with Gary Schools while her boys were young. She also enjoyed every second spent with her grandchildren. She loved to quilt, crochet and needle point. When the weather was right, Bobbie also liked to garden and work in her flower beds. A simple pleasure, but one she very much enjoyed was sweets and ice cream. She was an active member of Tennessee Presbyterian Church. She was also a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.

Bobbie is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Woodfin, Sr.; sons, Jerry Woodfin, Jr. and wife, Pam of Gary, James Woodfin of Gary, and John Woodfin and wife, Sherry, of Gary; grandchildren, Jason Woodfin and wife, Amanda of Gary, Samantha Kennedy and husband, Brad of Clayton, Shane Woodfin and wife, Liza of Gary, Derek Woodfin and wife, Mindy of Big Spring, Ryan Woodfin and wife, Quimbly of Big Spring, and Krista Foster and husband, J.W. of Diana; great grandchildren, Landon, Makayla, Kohl, Aubry, Cheyenne, Cierra, Jace, Kyleigh, Reese, Korbyn, Talon, Tripp, and Tucker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Sybil Long, son, Jimmy Woodfin, and an infant brother who passed at birth.

Pallbearers for Bobbie's service are Jason Woodfin, Derek Woodfin, Ryan Woodfin, Brad Kennedy, Shane Woodfin and J.W. Foster.
