Wonnell Brown

Wonnell Brown, 96, of Lufkin, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2024, in Lufkin, Texas.  She was born on January 13, 1928, in Center, Texas, to the late Vonn Warr and Mecie Francis (Lucas) Warr.   

Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 2PM at Short Cemetery.  

Wonnell was raised in Shelby County. She enjoyed spending time with her children, and family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her kind, compassionate care for others was demonstrated. Wonnell enjoyed quilting, hand embroidery, reading, and tending to her fur babies.
